Welcoming a new puppy is an exciting but challenging time. As a qualified puppy instructor, accredited by the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), I provide comprehensive 1-2-1 support through Dog Tricks and Trundles to help you nurture and understand your new furry family member.

With years of hands-on experience and a passion for positive reinforcement training, my sessions are designed to guide you through the essential aspects of puppy care, training, and life skills. By using reward-based training techniques, I’ll help you build a trusting, loving bond with your puppy while encouraging positive behaviours.

What I Can Help With:

• Toilet training

• Teething support

• Sleeping through the night

• First walks

• Recall and name response

• Basic commands: Sit, stay, down

• Loose lead walking

• Handling for vets and groomers

• Socialisation and confidence building in new environments

• Life skills: Settling, impulse control, polite greetings

• Creating a strong foundation for a well-balanced, confident dog

These skills are essential for raising a happy, well-mannered dog who can confidently navigate everyday situations. During our sessions, I’ll help you redirect unwanted behaviours while reinforcing positive ones, ensuring your puppy grows into a well-adjusted companion.

I recommend a minimum of 5 sessions to establish a strong foundation for your puppy’s long-term success.
