Trick training classes
What to expect?
My trick training classes are all about having a go, learning something new, and enjoying the process along the way. If you’re looking for dog training in Worthing that’s fun, supportive, and a little bit different, you’ll be made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Whether you’re completely new or you’ve done a bit before, there’s something here for everyone. If you’ve ever felt unsure about dog training or dog sports, you’ll be right at home here.
This is a progressive course, so you can stay with me and work your way through all four levels at your own pace. Each stage builds on the last, helping you and your dog grow in confidence while picking up a wide range of fun and impressive tricks along the way. It’s also a lovely, low-pressure way to explore dog sports if you’ve ever been curious.
If you’d like to take it a step further, I can also assess you for Do More With Your Dog trick titles, giving you the chance to gain recognised awards as you progress.
Above all, I focus on creating a relaxed, supportive environment. There’s no pressure and no judgement—just encouragement, guidance, and plenty of laughs as you and your dog learn together.
Low impact and completely flexible—work at your own pace, in a way that suits both you and your dog.
If you’re looking for something fun, rewarding, and a little bit different, this is a lovely way to spend time with your dog while building new skills. Everyone is welcome.
Who Are These Classes For?
These classes are designed to be welcoming, supportive, and suitable for most dogs and handlers, including complete beginners, older owners, and those simply looking for something fun, relaxed, and rewarding to enjoy with their dog.
Trick training is adaptable for all ages, breeds, and abilities, and exercises can be adjusted to suit both you and your dog’s pace.
There’s no pressure to “get things right” — the focus is on building confidence, having fun, and enjoying the learning process together.
Is This Class Suitable for My Dog?
While these classes are suitable for most dogs, group classes may not be the best fit for every dog at every stage. Dogs who are reactive or easily overwhelmed in busy environments may benefit from beginning with 1:1 sessions before joining a group setting.
If you’re unsure whether this course is suitable for you or your dog, please feel free to get in touch. I’m always happy to chat and help find the best option to support you both.
Progress & Titles
If you’d like to work towards something, I offer my own structured levels for you to progress through as you and your dog build your skills together.
I can also assess you for Do More With Your Dog trick titles, from beginner levels through to more advanced titles. It’s a lovely way to track your progress — but completely optional.
